Founded on April 8, 2024. Untold Coffee Lab was born from the mission to enrich the world through the greatest coffees, and greatest stories ever told.
The Founders
Danilo Lodi
A WBC-Certified Judge since 2010, coach of the 2012 & 2023 World Barista Champions and multiple National Barista & Brewer Champions, Danilo serves as Untold's green buyer and roaster. Fiercly authentic, his vision for Untold is firmly rooted in his desire to cut through the noise and educate people about the best coffees in the world.
Francesco M. Bernasconi
With an equal passion for people, coffee and adventure, Francesco's magnetic personality creates opportunities wherever he finds himself. He was naturally drawn to the core values that lead to the founding of Untold and seeks to share its vision with others.
Gary Salzman
Alongside his wife Lauren, Gary founded Whole Latte Love in 1997 and revolutionized the world of home espresso forever. To him, Untold represents a Renaissance in specialty coffee and an opportunity to share the Untold stories of coffee with a global audience.
Jesse Salzman
A designer, strategist and auteur, Jesse's critical eye and avant garde sensibilities have been invaluable in the creation of the visual DNA of Untold Coffee Lab. Through Untold he seeks to redefine how specialty coffee is represented online and on the countertop.
Julio Vilasmil K
The man behind Infumás, the South American distributor of some of the world's most popular specialty coffee equipment, Julio is all about sharing enthusiasm for better coffee. With a background in business development his focus is on building lasting relationships and success.
Justin Boudeman
The owner and founder of Longboard Coffee, Justin is a Panamanian who fell in love with specialty coffee. Through his farm Misty Mountain, he produces competition grade Geisha coffees that have been used by champion baristas around the world.
Todd Salzman
Todd is the consumate problem solver and responsible for the success of countless espresso machines. His hands-on nature and passion for problem solving make him the perfect candidate to handle the logistics of getting the world's best coffee in the hands of people around the world.
